Got It Covered
Confidence is attractive...
That includes saying no to sex if it's not what you want. Speak your mind and show that you're in control:
- “There's no hurry, so let's slow things down”
- “I want to get to know you better before we go any further”
- “Let's take things slower - it will be worth the wait!”
And if you do feel like going all the way, you need to let your partner know that using condoms is the only way to go. Use these handy one-liners to show you know exactly what you're doing.
- “No condom, no sex”
- “Condoms mean we can both relax and just concentrate on having fun”
- “If you don’t feel like using condoms, then I don’t feel like having sex”
Some people will try all sorts of excuses for not using condoms with their partner - but don't let that put you off. Tackle tricky situations with the following:
- They Say:
- “I don't have a condom with me”
- You say:
- “I do”
- They Say:
- “But I love you”
- You say:
- “Then help us to protect ourselves”
- They Say:
- “I can't feel much with a condom on”
- You say:
- “You won't feel anything unless you put one on”
- They Say:
- “Just this once”
- You say:
- “Once is all it takes”
- They Say:
- “Don't you trust me?”
- You say:
- “It's not about trust, people can have infections without realising it”
- They Say:
- “I don't stay hard when I put on a condom”
- You say:
- “Then let me put it on for you instead”
